That Frigidaire error code hunt finally paid off after 2 days
Last week in Cleveland I kept chasing E74 on this commercial fridge, swapped the thermistor twice and still got the code. Turns out the wiring harness had a rubbed spot behind the compressor, fixed it in 20 minutes. Anyone else ever had a board throw the same code for two separate issues on those units?

Had a True unit last month with E74 that turned out to be the harness rubbing on the frame by the door hinge. Ohm check on the wires read fine until I wiggled them, then it jumped all over the place. Same code, totally different cause, so yeah it happens.
