Spent 3 hours swapping a dryer drum with the old belt still looped around the motor pulley - rookie mistake that cost me a redo on a Samsung DV42H
Pulled the new belt off and realized the old one was still riding behind the idler pulley, so the drum was spinning but not heating right... anyone else forget to double check belt routing on these front load models before buttoning up?

Oh man, that's a brutal mistake! Did you at least catch it before you torqued down all the front panel screws again?

Ah man, that's rough! I definitely learned the hard way too - now I snap a quick picture with my phone of the belt routing before I pull anything apart. It's saved me from this exact headache more than once.
