Serious question, who else has hit 1,000 service calls?

My dispatch software ticked over to that number yesterday and it hit me how many weird noises and error codes that actually is. It's not just a digit, it's a thousand kitchens and basements. Anyone else get a weird feeling when they saw their own big number?

Doesn't that make you feel like all the small stuff adds up over time though? Sometimes I bet even the thousandth call feels like just another drop in the bucket, but @james533's buddy probably gets it. Every solved problem, even a toy in a dishwasher, means somebody's day got a little less stressful. I've had enough frustrating mornings with my own gadgets to know that kind of help matters, even if it's not a big emergency. It's like fixing a leaky faucet bit by bit you eventually stop hearing that drip. So yeah to me that thousand calls sounds like a lot of quiet victories that most folks never see.

My buddy said his thousandth call was just a kid's toy stuck in a dishwasher, which felt pretty fitting.
