Serious question, did I ruin dryer vents for years without knowing it?
Pulled a vent run on a job in Garland last Tuesday and found 14 feet of the foil flex stuff crushed behind the unit, and that was the moment it hit me I had been quiet about short runs for way too long. Now I tell every customer the flex has to go and the run stays under 25 feet with a hard elbow at the wall, no exceptions. Has anyone else had to walk back their old advice like that?
