Pro tip: I found a stripped screw on a Maytag washer motor in a tight spot last week and my $15 flexible shaft driver saved the job.
What's your go-to tool for dealing with stuck fasteners in cramped appliance spaces?

Honestly, a stripped screw on a washer motor sounds like a nightmare. Tbh I just keep a set of those cheap screw extractor bits around for that exact kind of thing. They get the job done when nothing else will.

Totally agree, screw extractor bits are a lifesaver. I had a stripped bolt on a dryer drum last month and my extractor set got it out in like two minutes. Felt like a real win after fighting with it for an hour lol.

Remember that stripped bolt on a carburetor? My buddy was ready to just weld a nut onto it out of pure frustration. He dug out his extractor set as a last try, and it bit right in and spun the thing out clean. He said it was the best ten bucks he ever spent on tools.
