My uncle told me to never trust a 'no error code' fridge, and he was dead on
He's been fixing stuff for like 40 years and said if a modern fridge is dead silent with no lights, check the main board's fuse before you order a new compressor. I had a KitchenAid last week that was totally dark, no codes at all. Pulled the board, found a tiny 3 amp fuse that looked fine but tested open. Swapped it for a new one from my kit, cost maybe 50 cents, and the thing powered right up. How many boards have you guys replaced that might have just needed a fuse?

Check the fuse first, always.

Fuses are the easy part. The real trick is figuring out why it blew in the first place.
