I finally stopped fighting glued-on fridgidaire handles
Three jobs in a row last month in Phoenix had handles that just would not budge, and I was burning 20 minutes each just trying to pop them off without scratching the door. I tried heat guns, putty knives, even a strap wrench one time, and nothing worked clean. Then I found out that spraying a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water behind the handle base and letting it sit for 60 seconds breaks the adhesive bond way better than any solvent I had stocked. It's not greasy, it doesn't mess with the paint, and it costs like 2 cents per use. Has anyone else found a similar trick for those newer plastic handles on Samsung fridges, or is it just me?

And if you add a little dish soap to that mix it works even faster on the sticky residue.
