Customer at the Bellflower job asked me to fix her dryer while I was elbow deep in her dishwasher
Last Tuesday I was under the sink in Bellflower swapping a drain pump and the lady kept hovering, which is normal, but then she asked if I could "just peek at" her dryer since I was already there. I said sure, figuring a clogged vent, and she walked me to the laundry room where there were 14 dryer sheets stuck to the back of the door like wallpaper. She looked me dead in the eye and said those help with the static, so she adds one every single load. I pulled a wad out the size of a softball and her lint screen was fully blocked, which explains why the thing took 90 minutes to dry a towel. When I handed her the bill for the dishwasher she acted surprised it didn't cover the dryer too. How do you all handle the "while you're here" request without turning a 45 minute call into a 3 hour one?
