Vent: The anime club at my local library kicked me out for talking too much about filler episodes

I went to the monthly anime discussion meetup at the Auburn Public Library last Tuesday. We were going over One Piece and I mentioned how the Davy Back Fight arc dragged on for like 20 episodes too long. This new guy running the group said I was being 'too negative' and asked me to leave. I get that some folks like the slow pacing but I was just trying to have a real conversation. Now I gotta find a new group. Anyone else run into clubs that can't handle any criticism?

Yeah, I've had that happen before. Some groups just want cheerleaders, not actual discussion.

Got kicked out of a book club for the same reason, they just wanted praise.
