Vent: Our lunch debates on cartoon plots are messing with crew morale
Some guys at my delivery spot can't wait to dissect every detail of the new Japanese cartoons as soon as they drop. But a bunch of others, including me sometimes, haven't had time to watch and get really annoyed by the spoilers. It got awkward last week when two drivers almost had a shouting match over a big reveal. I see both sides, chatting is fun but ruining the story sucks. How do you handle this kind of thing without making people mad?

My book club made a no-spoiler rule after a big fight.

No spoiler rule" sounds like a war zone waiting to happen. I can just picture someone casually dropping that a main character dies in chapter five, and then the whole meeting just stops. Next thing you know, someone's crying into their chardonnay and another person is silently plotting revenge by reading the last page out loud next time.
