Took me 3 rewatches to notice the background detail in episode 7 of Frieren

I kept seeing people online talking about how Frieren hides little story clues in the background, but I figured they were exaggerating. Then I was rewatching the episode where she remembers Himmel on that hill, and I finally noticed the tiny flower that only blooms for a day right next to her foot. It took me about 7 hours of total viewing time across those 3 watches to catch it. Has anyone else had a moment where you felt silly for missing something this obvious?

The thing is, maybe missing it isn't a bad thing. That little flower only blooms for one day. The show kind of teaches you that you're not supposed to notice everything the first time because Frieren herself is always missing stuff. Maybe the show is designed so that each rewatch feels like a new experience for that exact reason, like a built-in excuse to watch it again.

Well aren't you just the epitome of patience with that flower.
