Studio delays on anime releases are just hype killers

I get tired of waiting for shows that never come on time. It feels like they don't respect the fans' patience. Now I only watch completed series.

Notice this happening with everything now, not just anime. Video games drop broken patches, shows get split into weird half seasons years apart... feels like they start selling the idea before the thing even exists. Kills the excitement when you're always waiting for the next fix or the next part.

Stop pre-ordering anything that isn't fully released. I hold off until all patches are out and reviews confirm it's solid. Saves you from the endless cycle of disappointment.

My willpower lasts about as long as a cheap truck stop coffee. I see a new game trailer with a cool robot, and my wallet is out before the credits roll. Then I'm stuck with a robot that glitches through walls for six months. You're right, waiting is smarter, but my excitement has a real short leash.
