Serious question, did anyone actually like the new season of Demon Slayer?
I feel like I'm going crazy because everyone is raving about it, but I thought it was a total letdown. I paid for a Crunchyroll premium subscription just to watch it early, which was about $80 for the year. The animation was pretty, sure, but the story felt so rushed and the characters just stood around talking for three episodes straight. I kept waiting for something big to happen and it never did. The whole Infinity Castle arc setup felt like a massive info dump with no payoff. I'm honestly shocked more people aren't talking about how slow it was. Has anyone else felt this way, or am I just missing something?

Did anyone actually like the new season" is exactly how I felt. It's weird how we drop real money expecting that big payoff and get nothing, but it's the same with everyday stuff like buying expensive headphones that break in two months. I think we just get so hyped by the hype machine that we forget to check if the thing is actually worth it before we swipe the card.
