Remember when we all argued about subbed vs dubbed in the old forum threads?

Back in 2012, my whole crew would ONLY watch subs, calling dubs 'ruined'. Then I finally tried the dubbed version of 'Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood' on a long drive, and the voice acting was actually solid, letting me focus on the amazing animation. What's a show that made you switch sides on the sub vs dub debate?

Honestly, I was a sub-only guy for years. The big switch for me was 'Cowboy Bebop'. The English cast just nails the vibe, especially Steve Blum as Spike. It fits the show's style so perfectly that the sub now feels weird to me. Some dubs just get it right and become the definitive way to watch.

Did the Bebop dub make you check out their other dubs too?

Ever watch a show where the dub is so good it ruins the sub for you?
