Picked the 1997 Berserk over the 2016 version for my first watch and now I can't go back
A buddy at work in Cleveland kept pushing me to start Berserk and told me I had two doors: the old 25 episode show or the newer one on Netflix. I went with the 1997 one because the cover looked like a rainy afternoon, and three episodes in I was hooked on that guitar riff. Tried one episode of the 2016 version after and the CGI armor made me laugh out loud, so I bailed. Did I mess up by starting with the old one, or is that really the way most of you got in?
