My whole watchlist got deleted right before the new season started

I was on Crunchyroll last Tuesday getting ready for the spring shows. I tried to add a new show and the app froze, then crashed. When I opened it again, my list of 47 planned shows was just gone. I spent like an hour trying to find a restore option with no luck. Anyone know a good way to back up your watchlist outside the app?

If you don't control the platform, you don't control your data. That app can change its rules, get bought out, or just vanish. Your list was always on borrowed time.

Honestly that's on you for trusting a single app with something that important. A basic spreadsheet would have saved the whole list in five minutes. This is just how digital services work sometimes.
