Just realized the $50 I spent on that streaming bundle was a total waste after 3 months
I signed up for Crunchyroll, Funimation, and HIDIVE bundle thinking I'd watch everything, but I only ended up rewatching Naruto filler arcs and now I'm stuck paying for stuff I never touch... has anyone else fallen for one of those anime bundle deals?

The whole bundle trap is just life these days. You think you're getting a deal but you're really paying for the illusion of having options. Same thing happens to me with meal kit subscriptions, I keep getting the same two meals because I'm too lazy to pick new ones. It's like we sign up for the idea of ourselves who will actually branch out, but we always end up being the same person with the same habits. Those companies know exactly how to cash in on that fantasy version of us that never shows up.

Right? I paid for the same bundle thinking I'd finally watch all those classic series I keep hearing about. Ended up just rewatching Bleach filler for the fifth time and now I'm convinced I'm paying $50 a month to maintain a digital shrine to my own laziness. The real fantasy was thinking I'd actually branch out past the same episodes I've seen since high school. At this point I'm pretty sure HIDIVE is just a monthly donation I make to a company that hopes I'll one day click on something besides Naruto.
