I used to watch every new anime season blind, but after missing a great show in 2021, I started reading forums first.

Do you think going in with no info is more fun, or does checking discussions first actually improve the experience?

Depends on the show honestly. Going in blind is great for weird stuff where the surprise is the whole point, but checking forums first can save you from wasting time on a show that falls apart halfway through. I've been burned too many times by a strong first episode that leads to nothing. Now I'll skim a few non-spoiler threads to see if the plot actually goes somewhere worth following.
