Hot take: that $40 blind box figure was the best money I spent on anime this year
I grabbed a random blind box figure at the anime store in Portland 3 months ago for $40, mostly as a joke. My shelf was all boxed Nendoroids, and I figured a cheap surprise one would just sit there. Turns out the figure in that box was the one character from the show my wife keeps telling me to watch, so it basically forced me to finally start the series. Two episodes in and I get why people lose their minds over it. What's the cheapest anime thing you bought that accidentally got you into a whole show?
