Hot take: Gurren Lagann is way overrated and I don't get the hype
Last Tuesday I finally sat down to watch the whole series after years of hearing it called the greatest mecha anime ever. I got to episode 15 and just couldn't keep going because the constant yelling and power of friendship stuff felt so forced. Am I missing something or did anyone else find the pacing really repetitive?
