Had to pick between subbed and dubbed for my first One Piece watch

Honestly, I went subbed for the first 200 episodes but switched to dubbed after i realized i was missing half the screen reading text. The zoro voice change nearly made me drop it at episode 250 though. Anyone else bounce between both on long series like this?

Wait, you actually made it 250 episodes into the dub? I tried the dub for like 10 episodes and had to switch back. The Zoro voice change was brutal, I heard about that. That had to be rough going through that at episode 250 though, thats way too deep in to just bail on the whole show. Props to you for sticking it out, I would have lost my mind.
