Warning: don't trust those cheap bulk rolls of 35mm from eBay until you test one first

I bought a 10-pack of expired Kodak Gold 200 from a seller in Ohio for $30. Looked like a steal compared to the fresh stuff at $8 a roll. Loaded up my Pentax K1000 for a weekend trip to the arboretum. Every single shot came back with this weird foggy haze and the colors were shifted green. The seller swore they were stored properly. But I shot one roll of fresh Fuji C200 from a local shop the week before and got perfect results. Same camera, same lens, same developing lab. The difference was night and day. I think those bulk rolls sat in a hot garage for years. Has anyone else gotten burned by those discount bundles or did I just pick a bad seller?

That's a bummer but honestly expired film is always a gamble even if they say it was stored right. Green color shift and haze is kinda the classic sign it got cooked somewhere warm.
