That $40 bulk film loader was a bargain, until it wasn't
I grabbed a used bulk film loader off eBay for 40 bucks, figured I'd save money rolling my own rolls of HP5. Worked great for the first two rolls, then the counter jammed and I ended up with a 36-shot roll that was actually only 18 shots, half the frame spacing was a mess. Cost me a whole evening and a roll of film I could have bought pre-loaded for the same price. Any of you lot run into a loader that just decides to quit mid-roll, or is it just my luck with used gear?
