Found a dirty lens trick that actually saved me $80
I had this old Pentax 50mm lens that had a bunch of haze between the elements. Tried everything I could find online, nothing worked. Read about using hydrogen peroxide and a UV light exposure setup, left it for 3 days on my windowsill in Phoenix. The haze cleared up almost completely and I didn't have to pay someone to take it apart. Has anyone else had luck with non-chemical cleaning tricks for stubborn fungus?

Heard hydrogen peroxide works great for fungus. Gonna try that myself.

Read somewhere that leaving a lens in a sealed bag with a dish of uncooked rice can pull moisture out of the inner elements. Tried it on a cheap zoom lens that had some minor clouding, let it sit for a week, and it actually cleared up a bit. Not as good as your hydrogen peroxide trick, but it's worth a shot if you're scared of using chemicals. What made you think of trying peroxide on your Pentax anyway?
