Three years of using a light meter and then just dropping it cold turkey? That's like a pilot suddenly deciding to fly without instruments after three years of relying on them. I can't imagine not having that safety net, especially with how expensive film is these days.

Cannot believe you lasted three years with a light meter. That's a long time to build that kind of dependency. Must have felt like learning photography all over again when you stopped using it.
