Check your film fridge temp before it's too late
I used to trust my mini fridge for storing film until last spring when I found 14 rolls of Portra 400 from a New York trip that came back with a weird color shift. Turned out the fridge was sitting at 55 degrees, not the 40 I assumed, because the thermometer died and I never checked. Anyone else keep a backup thermometer in their film fridge or do you just trust the dial?

Grab a cheap digital probe and tape it inside. Never trust dials alone.
