Unpopular opinion: the guy at the Westside Home Depot paint desk gave me better exterior advice than 3 contractors
I was at the Home Depot on Coors near Paseo last Saturday grabbing a gallon of exterior paint and the older guy at the desk asked what I was painting, and when I said stucco he stopped me cold. He pulled out a little card showing our sun and temp swings and said the cheap stuff will chalk out here in 3 summers unless I get the right base, which nobody I talked to mentioned. Am I the only one who's learned more from a paint desk guy than from actual bids, or did I just get lucky with this one?
