Shoutout to the painter who quoted me $950 for stucco prep
Tbh I always figured stucco just needed a quick hose down before painting. Then this painter in Nob Hill walked me through the whole process, showed me the cracks and efflorescence on my east wall, and explained why the quote had to include scraping and patching. He said most folks skip it and end up repainting in 2 years instead of 8. Has anyone else had a contractor talk you out of a cheaper job for good reason?
