Last Wednesday was my worst day as a homeowner here in ABQ
The monsoon hit our block hard and I came home to 3 inches of water in my garage because the gutter on the back side had been clogged for months without me noticing. Did anyone else get caught off guard by that storm last week, or was it just me?

Spent that whole morning watching my gutters overflow like a bad fountain show while standing ankle deep in my own stuff. Found a lawn chair floating around that I forgot I even owned. The real kicker was when I realized the clog was just a single tennis ball that rolled off my kid's forgotten stash. Dried out my toolbox and now everything smells like a wet dog that rolled in dirt.

Peel that wet tennis ball smell out of your toolbox with a dryer sheet, works better than anything fancy. Spent my whole Saturday shop-vaccing the garage and finding a dozen things I forgot I even owned. At least the lawn chair floating around gave me something to sit on while I questioned my life choices.
