Serious question, did anyone else's basement in Edmonton stay dry through that thaw last week?
I spent last Tuesday walking around my basement in St. Albert with a flashlight after that fast melt and found one damp corner near the floor drain. Turns out the grading on the north side had sunk about 2 inches over 3 years, so water was pooling right against the foundation. What's the best way to build that slope back up without ripping out the whole yard?
