My garage door opener clicked over to 1,000 opens and I found out the hard way
So I've been putting off a check on the old LiftMaster in my garage in Red Deer for who knows how long, and the counter on my app finally rolled past 1,000 cycles while I was standing right there with a coffee. I figured it was just a fun number until the thing started grinding on the way back down, and of course my wife had already left for work so she couldn't help me muscle it. Turned out the spring was starting to go and that 1,000 mark was basically the thing waving a flag at me. Got a guy out and he said another two weeks and the door would've come down on the car. Anybody else track their opener cycles or am I the only one nerding out on this?
