Appreciation post: I thought radon tests were a scare tactic until my neighbor in Airdrie handed me his numbers
I figured the $180 test kit was just a cash grab, but his basement came back at 340 Bq/m3 and mine was 210, both well over the 200 limit. My mitigation quote came in at $2,600 and I booked it on the spot. Anyone else near Airdrie tested their place, and what numbers did you get?

Man, glad your neighbor spoke up before you found out the hard way. 210 is still nothing to shrug off, so good call booking it. That $2,600 stings but it beats the alternative.
