Vent: A customer's cat set off their motion sensor every night for a month

Got a call last week from a client in Springfield who said their alarm kept going off around 2 AM. They were sure someone was breaking in. Went over, checked the logs, and saw the living room motion sensor triggered at the same time every night. Finally set up a cheap camera to see. Turns out their giant fluffy cat, Mr. Whiskers, does a perfect parkour run across the back of the couch right past the sensor. The owner just laughed and said, "He gets the zoomies." Had to adjust the sensor height and sensitivity. Anyone else had a pet cause a weird false alarm loop?

Had that same problem last summer. Taped some cardboard over the sensor on the side mirror. Sounds dumb but it worked. Dog stopped jumping up on the car.
