The weirdest thing I saw on a service call in Tampa

Got a call for a false alarm at a house, same address three times in a week. The old system had a motion sensor aimed right at a big fish tank. The homeowner had just gotten a new, very active plecostomus fish. Every time that thing swam up the glass, it tripped the sensor. We moved the sensor about two feet to the left and the calls stopped. Has anyone else had a pet cause a weird false alarm?

My cousin's parrot kept setting off their glass break sensor by screaming.

That's actually a common problem with those sensors, @phoenixgonzalez. I read they pick up certain high-pitched sounds. Your cousin might need to adjust the sensitivity.
