Question about using a borescope for panel checks

I started using a cheap borescope from Harbor Freight to look inside panels before opening them. In the past month, it saved me from two surprise wasp nests and one chewed wire bundle I would have stuck my hand right into. Do you guys use them, or is there a better trick for a quick peek?

That "quick peek" idea is a perfect example of how a little bit of cheap tech can solve a huge, annoying problem.

Sounds great until you realize the "cheap tech" is just a guy in a closet with a flashlight and a walkie talkie.
