Ever try using colored electrical tape for that? I read it's way faster than writing on those little flags. Makes tracing circuits later so much simpler.

But does it actually save that much time? Colored tape can fade or peel in damp places, making circuits harder to trace later. Handwritten flags might be slower, but they're reliable and easy to update. For most home projects, the old way is probably good enough!

Honestly, how often are we tracing circuits in damp places anyway? Seth_carr has a point about speed, but for most DIY stuff, it's not like we're running a factory... I used colored tape in my garage and it held up fine for a year. If it peels, you just replace it... takes two seconds. Seems like people are overthinking this.
