PSA: Heard a firefighter in Dallas say they always check the panel location first
They said a clear path to the main panel can save them 2 minutes in a real emergency. Do you guys try to keep that in mind when you're placing the keypad?

My buddy's a volunteer firefighter upstate. He told me they train to look for the panel near the front door or the garage door, but half the time it's buried in a back closet behind a pile of coats. Makes their job way harder.

Can't even find the fire alarm panel, but somehow I always find the snacks in the pantry.
