and honestly that's kind of impressive, my cat just sits there and stares at the wall until I wake up to feed her but I guess tripping an alarm is a whole other level of chaos. i had a friend back in college whose cat figured out how to unplug his phone charger by yanking on the cord, woke him up at 3am with a dead phone and a very proud looking cat sitting on top of it. animals are basically tiny little gremlins with fur, they find the weirdest ways to mess with your stuff when you least expect it. at least his buddy's cat is just doing it by accident, my friend's cat was definitely doing it on purpose just to see him suffer lol.

That's nothing, my own cat learned how to open the cabinet where the treats are. Had to put a child lock on it, which is pretty sad for a grown man, lmao.
