Had the worst Monday of my career last week with a false alarm cascade at a new build in Austin

I was installing a DSC system in a 4,000 square foot house and the customer kept walking through the living room while I was testing zones. Set off three false alarms in a row to the monitoring center. They charged me a 50 dollar fine per call. Took me two hours to convince the homeowner to stay put. Has anyone else dealt with a customer who just wont stop moving around during setup?

That "kept walking through the living room" part made me cringe. Some people just don't get that you need the space empty.

Maybe they just really hate their roommate and passive aggression was the only option.
