Am I the only one who switched from running 22/4 to pre-made keypad whip?
Back in 2015 I was still stripping 22/4 and crimping every keypad run by hand, and half my callbacks were loose EOL resistors at the pad. Now I just grab a 3-foot pre-made whip off the truck and screw it in, saves me maybe 10 minutes a panel and zero callbacks in two years. The one time it bit me was a retrofit in an old house on Delmar where the wire was too short to reach the new pad location. Has anyone found a decent 6-foot version, or do you guys just extend it with a B-connector?
