Unpopular opinion: that 'temporary' zip tie fix on a flap cable guide from Tuesday is still holding fine.

Had a Cessna 172's nylon guide channel crack during pre-flight, so I secured the cable with two heavy-duty 18-inch ties as a get-home fix, and the owner hasn't brought it back yet.

My neighbor's dryer vent hose is held up with a coat hanger from 2019. These things just become part of the machine after a while.
