I found a full bag of airline peanuts inside a flap actuator on a 737.

It was during a routine check in Tulsa, and the whole crew spent twenty minutes trying to figure out how it got past the last inspection. We ended up using a shop vac and a bent coat hanger to get it all out. What's the weirdest thing you've ever pulled from a plane?

A full bag of peanuts is not that wild. @gibson.oliver, things get missed in big planes all the time. It's just a snack bag, not a tool left in the engine.

A full bag of peanuts survived a whole inspection cycle? That's wild.

I read about a guy who found a whole ham sandwich in a cargo hold once.
