Hit 500 torque checks without a single mistake today

I've been at United in Denver for 3 years now. Today I passed my 500th torque check on landing gear hardware. Not one failure or redo. Felt like a big deal because my first week I messed up 3 in a row. Anyone else keep count of something weird like that?

That's the kind of thing that shows how much you care about the work. People don't realize that doing something simple over and over without messing up is actually harder than doing something complicated once. There's this weird thing where we always celebrate the big flashy achievements but ignore the quiet consistency that actually keeps planes in the air. You building that record up one check at a time is probably more valuable than some big fancy solution someone thinks up in a meeting. Pretty cool milestone, man.

Isn't it funny how we hype the flashy stuff but forget the boring grind that actually holds things together? @gibson.oliver you nailed it, same goes for stuff like keeping your car running or showing up for a friend.
