Debated between torque wrenches and ended up with a CDI

Had to choose between a Snap-on and a CDI 3/8 drive for engine work back in 2015, went with the CDI because it was half the price and our lead guy swore by them. Still clicks true after hundreds of flights, ever had a budget tool that just wouldn't quit?

Bought a used Craftsman 1/2 inch torque wrench for $35 at a pawn shop back in 2012, figured it'd be a beater for lug nuts. Thing still clicks dead on after I popped it on my neighbor's Snap-on tester last year. Sometimes the cheap stuff just holds up if you treat it decent.

I read somewhere that Craftsman tools from before the 2000s were built better than most of the newer stuff.
