Blown hydraulic line on a 737 at gate 14 in Atlanta almost got me
I was doing a pre-departure check on an MD-80 two weeks ago at Kansas City and a main hydraulic line burst right as I reached under the panel, spraying fluid everywhere and I had to emergency ground the bird while my lead ran for the shutoff valve - has anyone else had a line let go on pushback?

Yeah I had an MD-80 line blow on me in Kansas City and the key was getting that shutoff valve quick...

Miller.jason knows what's up, that valve is everything when things go south. Had a hydraulic line pop on a 737-800 in Denver once, felt like the whole floor got slippery in seconds. Everyone's yelling about shutting it off but nobody can remember which handle it was for a hot minute. Worst part was the cleanup crew gave me side eye for tracking red fluid through the terminal.
