A perfect AOG day in Denver that had zero drama

Last Tuesday we got a 737 with a bleed fault at 5 AM and everything just clicked, the part arrived in 40 minutes and the paperwork was already stamped by lunch. People always talk about the nightmare shifts but I swear the routine good ones are the reason I stay in this trade. Anyone else have a day where the gremlins just behaved for once?

Those smooth days are exactly what scare me the most. When everything lines up too perfect, you know the next shift is going to be a total dumpster fire to balance it out. The gremlins don't just take a day off, they store up all that mischief and hit you twice as hard later. Better to have small annoying problems every day than one giant catastrophe waiting around the corner. Trust me, I've seen the calm before the storm turn into a 14 hour shift with a stuck rudder and no parts in the state. That paperwork you bragged about is probably cursed now.
