Why does nobody talk about air fryer liners cracking under high heat
I was dead set against using parchment liners in my air fryer for like a year. Thought they were a waste of money and just extra trash. Then last week I made some breaded chicken at 400F and the foil I used instead actually melted onto the heating element. Smelled horrible and took me 20 minutes to scrape off. So I caved and bought a pack of those perforated paper liners from Target for $6. Total game changer for cleanup. Has anyone else had foil fail on them like that?

Man I feel your pain on this one. I was the exact same way for months, stubbornly using foil and thinking it was fine. Then one night I did wings at 400 and the foil literally fused to the bottom of the basket. Had to soak it for an hour and still left black marks. The liners are honestly a lifesaver but I get why people are skeptical at first.

It's funny how stubborn we get about stuff like this, right? Feels like there's this whole thing where people think adding a liner is somehow cheating or something, but really it's just common sense once you try it. @james533 made the same mistake too apparently.

A buddy of mine tried foil once and ended up with a melted mess too.
