Warning: My frozen fries turned into charcoal briquettes
Set the air fryer to 400 for 15 minutes like the bag said. Came back to a kitchen full of smoke and a basket of black sticks. My mistake was not shaking them even once. Learned the hard way that you gotta check on things halfway through, no matter what the instructions say. Anyone have a good time and temp for those crinkle cut ones?

Honestly, I've just accepted that my oven's only setting is "incinerate." I put them in for half the time on the bag, and I'm still scraping charcoal off the tray. Maybe we're supposed to just stand there and watch them the whole time, which defeats the whole point of oven fries. I'm starting to think the bags lie on purpose to sell more fries.

My old apartment had an oven that ran about 75 degrees hot. I found out by trying to bake cookies from a recipe my mom gave me. The first batch came out looking like flat, black coasters. I had to buy an oven thermometer and just subtract time from everything, it was such a pain.
