Update: I thought air fryer pizza was a total gimmick until my neighbor in apartment 3B made a pepperoni one that was actually crispy.

Has anyone else had a surprisingly good result with something you were sure would fail in the fryer?

Yeah, I saw a recipe for air fryer grilled cheese that looked legit.

My cousin swears by making grilled cheese in her air fryer now. She said it gets the bread super crispy without burning, like way better than a pan sometimes. I saw a video where they brushed the outside with mayo instead of butter before air frying. I mean idk if that's actually good, but the crunch looked insane. Maybe it's just me but I still like the classic way in a skillet.
