Question about frozen fries in the air fryer
My brother told me to stop spraying oil on frozen fries before cooking them. He said the air fryer works better with them dry, and he was right. The batch I made last night came out way crispier. Anyone else skip the oil spray?

Funny you should mention that. My husband used to swear by a light oil mist for everything in the air fryer, frozen fries included. He finally tried a batch without it after I kept pestering him, and his whole method changed. The texture is just better, in my opinion, less greasy and more like a proper chip shop fry. Your mileage may vary, of course, but it seems to work for a lot of people.
